Maitland Dawson Dowell Park

Dawson Dowell Park
The park is nestled behind the old dyke and features a playground, tennis court and gazebo. It is a lovely setting for picnics and relaxing. Across the Acadian dyke there is access to the wharf overlooking the village of Maitland, Cobequid Bay and the mouth of the Shubenacadie River.

Anthony Park Lower Selma

The Provinial Park overlooks Cobequid Bay and has picnic facilities and access to the beach.
Burntcoat Head Park and Museum

The lighthouse at Burntcoat Head,
the sight of the world highest tides.
The highest tides in the world were recorded at this location: a difference between low - and high tide of 16.6 meters (54'). In the park are a lighthouse with an interpretive display and a walking trails with spectacular views of unique rock formations and the Cobequid Bay.
